Casper Andreasen is an attorney with right of audience before the Danish Supreme Court, and he is partner at Nyborg & Rørdam. For many years he has been deeply engaged in criminal law – both as court-appointed defense counsel and as external lecturer in the subject at the University of Copenhagen. Thus, Casper has an in-depth knowledge of the area both in practice and in theory.

Casper is engaged in all types of cases within the field of classical criminal law. Besides he has considerable experience in cases on white-collar crime, including cases on VAT carousel fraud, cases on insider trade and market manipulation as well as major fraud actions.

Due to his broad practical experience Casper is highly recommendable as defense counsel with a legal and human insight who can steer you through legal proceedings – from the charge being brought until the conclusion of the case. Casper has extensive experience in litigation and has conducted cases before the Danish courts and the European Court of Justice.

Besides his work as court-appointed defense counsel, Casper has provided legal conselling to both organisations and individuals within the field of copyright. Once a week, Casper works at the Legal Secretariat in Copenhagen which is a joint secretariate for three associations of composers, namely , DJBFA, DPA and DKF. Through this work Casper has built up a very high degree of specialist knowledge within counselling of musicians and other rights owners. Casper has with great success conducted a number of leading cases on copyright.
