Mediation
Mediation is a voluntary and confidential method of dispute resolution in which a neutral mediator helps the parties reach a solution that they themselves find satisfactory through a structured process. The mediator sets the framework for and guides the mediation, but does not make any decision in the matter.
Unlike traditional court proceedings, mediation gives the parties greater influence over both the process and the outcome. Experience shows that conflicts resolved through mediation often have the additional benefit that working and/or personal relationships can be preserved or restored, because the parties are more involved in both the process and the result.
Mediation can often lead to faster solutions, lower costs, and more durable agreements, and the method is suitable for both commercial and private disputes.
Several of our attorneys are certified mediators with substantial experience in handling complex conflicts in both the business world and between private individuals. Our certified mediators are members of Danish Mediator Lawyers and may be appointed to mediate in a conflict with the aim of resolving it more quickly and at a lower cost.
